FAQ

Summarizer questions

How does the summarizer choose what to keep?
It scores every sentence by how many high-frequency, meaningful words it shares with the rest of the text, then keeps the highest-ranked sentences in their original order. This "extractive" approach preserves the author's exact wording.
What's the difference between the formats?
Short gives you 2–3 sentences; Paragraph keeps about a third of the text as flowing prose; Bullets lists the key points. Pro adds Executive (structured brief) and TL;DR (one line).
How long can the input be?
Anonymous users can summarize up to 500 words, 5 times a day. A free account raises that to unlimited summaries up to 2,000 words; Pro handles up to 10,000 words.
Will it invent facts?
No. Because it extracts real sentences rather than generating new ones, the summary can't hallucinate — every line comes straight from your source text.
Is my text stored?
Your text is processed securely to create the summary and deleted afterwards — we don't train on it or share it.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, the layout stacks cleanly on phones.
