Delete in the app (Android & iOS)

1. Open TextSight and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings (or the Privacy & Data screen).
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently removed.

Delete on the web

Sign in at app.textsight.ai/settings, open your Account settings, and choose Delete Account. Confirm to permanently remove your account and data.

Delete by email

If you can’t access the app or the web dashboard, email privacy@textsight.ai from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We verify ownership, then complete the deletion.

What gets deleted

• Your account: email, name, and login credentials.
• Your saved scans, humanizations, reports, and history.
• Any files you uploaded and the text extracted from them.
• Referral credits and app settings.

Note: text you submit for AI detection or humanization is processed in memory and discarded by default (zero retention). It is not stored unless you choose to save it to your history.

Timeline & exceptions

Account deletion is permanent and completed within 30 days of your request (typically within 24 hours). We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it, for example billing and invoice records for tax compliance (up to 7 years) and minimal fraud-prevention logs. These are never used for any other purpose. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe; if you have an active plan, cancel it before deleting your account.

Delete only some data (keep your account)

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. In Settings → Privacy & Data you can clear your scan history, which deletes stored scans while keeping your account active. You can also email privacy@textsight.ai to request deletion of specific data.
