This is where the classifier is calibrated. Milan agencies producing English copy for global luxury and fashion brands, Bocconi and POLIMI students submitting English-medium degree work, LUISS and Cattolica MSc cohorts, Italian SaaS writers producing English landing pages, and Italian freelancers writing for international outlets all sit in the strongest part of the tool.
Accuracy is meaningfully lower on Italian-only text. The classifier sees the patterns it learned in English training and tries to apply them, but the result is less reliable than it is in English. We do not recommend TextSight as the primary check for Italian-only tesi or articles. For Italian institutional submissions, Compilatio or Turnitin Italian coverage is the better institutional fit where your school provides it.
A common pattern at Milan agencies is to draft in English for global audiences, then localise into Italian for the domestic market. This works well in practice. TextSight scans the English source draft, the localisation pass sits outside our calibrated zone, and the English-language version is what most international readers and search engines see anyway. We would rather lose the Italian-only segment of the market than oversell accuracy we have not measured.
