TextHumanizer Alternatives: Where to Go Next

TextHumanizer works, is free to start, and is about four months old. Its homepage and its pricing page state different prices and different limits for the same plan, so the first job before switching, or renewing, is knowing which figure you are actually buying.

What is verifiably there

All checks against texthumanizer.com on 16 August 2026.

The service functions. We sent text to its humanize endpoint and received rewritten output in about three and a half seconds without an account. The site describes itself as "The #1 AI Text Humanizer", free with no sign up required.

It has more legal and contact substance than most tools this size. Terms of service last updated April 2026, governing law given as the State of Delaware, USA, and four working contact addresses: hello@, enterprise@, press@ and security@texthumanizer.com. Its terms include a responsible use clause stating that you are "solely responsible for how you use the output".

Its blog is active, carrying posts dated between March and May 2026.

The About page names three people: Dr. Margaret Chen as Founder and Chief Linguist, described as holding a PhD in Computational Linguistics from MIT, formerly of the Stanford NLP Lab, with 15 years in academic writing and AI language research; James Whitmore as Head of Product, described as a former Director of Writing Centers at three major universities; and Dr. Priya Desai as CTO. No company name, legal entity or registered address appears anywhere.

The public WHOIS record gives a domain creation date of 4 April 2026, through the registrar DropCatch.com 397 LLC. DropCatch is a drop catch registrar, meaning the domain had previously been registered by someone else, expired, and was re acquired at auction. The business behind the current site is therefore around four months old. Three blog posts, dated 15, 22 and 28 March 2026, carry dates before that registration.

The numbers that do not line up

This is the practical one, and you can check it yourself in two clicks.

The homepage states, twice in its own markup, "$14.99/month for unlimited words with priority processing", and elsewhere mentions "$7/mo".

The pricing page says something different. There, Free is $0 for 100 humanizations a month at 10 requests a minute. Starter is $7 a month for 1,000 humanizations a month at 30 requests a minute. Pro, marked Most Popular, is $14 a month for 5,000 humanizations a month at 60 requests a minute. Business is $39 a month for 20,000 humanizations a month at 120 requests a minute. Annual billing is said to save 25 percent, Pro carries a 14 day money back guarantee, cancellation is "No questions asked, no cancellation fees", and a 40 percent student and educator discount is offered.

So the same plan is $14.99 or $14, and is either unlimited words or 5,000 humanizations a month, depending on which page you read. Those are not compatible statements. Before you subscribe, get it in writing which one applies, because "unlimited" and "5,000 a month" are very different products.

On effectiveness, the site's own claims, reported as theirs and not endorsed by us, are "98% Bypass Rate", described as "98% bypass rate across all detectors" and "Updated weekly as detection algorithms" change, alongside "99.2% Meaning Preserved" and "99.2% meaning preservation fidelity". No methodology, sample size, detector versions or test date is published for any of them. A claim of accuracy to one decimal place, with no method attached, is not a specification you can hold anyone to.

What happened when we ran one test

We submitted a single formal sentence about policy frameworks and stakeholder consultation. The returned text was in a markedly casual register, including the constructions "you gotta" and "'em" in place of "them".

One sample is not a quality assessment and we are not presenting it as one. But it is a cheap test to repeat, and if you are producing academic or professional writing it is the specific thing to check against the 99.2 percent meaning preservation claim. Run your own paragraph, in your own register, before you pay for a year.

Where TextHumanizer is still the better choice

Set the marketing aside and there is a real product here with genuine advantages.

The free tier is usable without registering, and 100 humanizations a month is enough to actually decide whether the tool helps you. Compared with the one time 1,000 word samples common in this category, that is a fairer offer.

Its pricing ladder is the most finely graded of the tools we looked at. Free, $7, $14 and $39 gives you somewhere sensible to sit at four different usage levels, and the $39 Business tier at 20,000 humanizations is priced well against rivals asking $100 for their top plan.

The published rate limits, from 10 to 120 requests a minute, are the kind of detail that matters if you intend to automate anything, and almost nobody else in this bracket discloses them.

The 40 percent student and educator discount is real money for the group most likely to be using it, and the 14 day money back guarantee on Pro plus no penalty cancellation are better consumer terms than most competitors offer.

It is also the only tool in this group publishing a Delaware governing law clause and a security contact address. If something goes wrong, you have a named jurisdiction and somewhere to write. That is not nothing.

If the output suits your voice and the price you were charged is the price you expected, there is no strong reason to move.

If you want a different humanizer

The comparable options are SuperHumanizer, WriteHumane and CogniBypass. Compare per run word ceilings, whether a Turnitin report is included, published contact routes, and how recently each site visibly changed. On raw effectiveness you will be weighing unverifiable percentages against each other, which is the honest state of this entire market.

Where TextSight fits, and where it does not

We build the detector. Our rewriting aims at clearer prose rather than at defeating a checker, and we publish no pass rates, because that is not the product.

That means if you are leaving TextHumanizer in search of stronger evasion, we are not your answer and one of the tools above will serve you better. Saying so costs us a sale and saves you an afternoon.

Who we do fit: people who need to know how writing reads before someone else checks it. Editors handling freelance copy, marketers publishing at volume, teams reviewing commissioned work, writers who want a score with reasoning attached instead of a rewrite they have to take on faith.

The specifics. Our detector is an English only ensemble built on DeBERTa, RoBERTa and ELECTRA. It reports three bands: below 30 is "likely human-written", 30 to 69 is "mixed signals", 70 and above is "likely AI-generated". The box at the top of this page runs without an account at three checks a day, pooled across the AI Detector and Document Detector, up to 1,000 words each, with a 25 word minimum. A free account raises this to 60 checks a day at 5,000 words, with history.

The limitation we publish rather than hide: our ensemble carries a known false positive bias against writers who learned English as a second language, so genuine human writing from ESL authors scores higher than it should. Read the score as evidence to weigh, not a verdict to act on, and be especially careful in that case.

Plans, annual billing 25 percent below monthly: Starter $9.99 or $7.49 annual, Pro $19.99 or $14.99, Business $39.99 or $29.99, Enterprise $79.99 or $59.99. Sentence level analysis and PDF export from Starter. Chrome extension and REST API from Pro. Teams and branded reports from Business. File upload, URL scan and bulk scan across the product.

Deciding

If your next move is submitting text somewhere that will check it, you want a humanizer, and TextHumanizer is a reasonable one at $7, once you have confirmed the price in writing. If you instead need to know how your own writing reads first, use the box above.

TextHumanizer alternatives, frequently asked.

Does TextHumanizer actually work?
Yes. On 16 August 2026 its humanize endpoint returned rewritten text in roughly three and a half seconds with no account required.
Why do the homepage and pricing page disagree?
We do not know, and we are not going to guess. The observable facts are that the homepage says "$14.99/month for unlimited words" while the pricing page lists Pro at $14 a month for 5,000 humanizations. Confirm which applies before subscribing.
Are the 98% and 99.2% figures verified?
No. They are the vendor's own published claims, with no methodology, sample size, detector versions or test date given. We could not verify them and we do not repeat them as fact.
How old is TextHumanizer?
The domain was registered on 4 April 2026 through a drop catch registrar, so the current site is roughly four months old. Three blog posts carry March 2026 dates, before that registration.
Who operates it?
The About page names Dr. Margaret Chen, James Whitmore and Dr. Priya Desai. No company name, legal entity or address is published, though the terms name Delaware as the governing jurisdiction and four contact addresses are given.
Is TextSight a humanizer?
Not in this sense. We make the detector and a rewriter aimed at clarity. We do not sell detector evasion or make claims about pass rates.
